DaoJian: The Book of Weapons

DaoJian: The Book of Weapons is a 2D fighting game that's very similar to Soul Calibur. Players get to pick any one of the myriad variety of characters and weapons available within this epic, action-packed game. You'll also have loads of other items to choose from, including: axes, swords, metallic hooks, daggers and much more. With each weapon, your combat style is slightly altered, so be careful of how you wield each of these forces.

Control systems in DaoJian: The Book of Weapons are as per usual within this genre of games. Towards the left of your screen, there's a virtual crosspad where you'll be able to choose to move either left or right, dodge by crouching down or jumping; and towards the right side of your screen, there are buttons designated for attacking and deploying defensive moves.

When you start out playing you choose a character and a type of weapon. In under ten minutes you'll begin unlocking new weapons and armor to equip your fighters with. Similarly, at the beginning you'll only be able to play the 'story mode', but it won't take long to unlock several additional game modes that allow you to fight both the AI and other players you meet online.

DaoJian: The Book of Weapons is an excellent fighting game, with fast and lethal battles (similar to what you might expect from first Soul Blade), with control systems that are perfectly adapted to touchscreens smartphones. The game also has extraordinary visuals, which can be toggled to customize the experience to your liking from the settings menu.
